Kira Agrell Trio

Kira Agrell is a saxophonist and composer hailing from Berkeley California, who currently resides in San Francisco.  She is entering her third year at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Kira has studied with local saxophonists such as Sheldon Brown, Kristen Strom, as well as internationally acclaimed saxophonists such as Nicole Glover, and David Sanchez. She is pleased to present her chordless trio featuring Alan Jones on upright bass and Jaycie Grady on drums, both recent alums of SFCM. This performance will feature classic jazz standards from the 40s-60s, as well as original compositions.
